The past months the surveyors of PCS International have followed a
tailor-made course in Surveyor Consumer Products & Cigarettes.
The course has been given by the Shipping and Transport College in Rotterdam,
The Netherlands. S.T.C. Rotterdam is the official institute in The Netherlands
which is authorized by European Law to issue certificates for surveyors.
This certification replaces the old fashioned "Sworn Surveyors". A
certificate from S.T.C. or any other European or world wide institute is a proof
of proof of professionalism, product knowledge and general surveying skills.
As from September 20, 2000 our surveyors (Patrick van Zundert and Richard Peeters) are certified Surveyor Consumer Products and Cigarettes on the following subjects:
- Position of the Cargo Surveyor
- Pre-Shipment Survey
- Container Inspection
- Warehouse Cargo Survey
- Sample Inspection Cigarettes
- Genuineness of Cigarettes
- Condition of Cigarettes and Consumer Products
This is a unique certification, as no other inspection company has certified surveyors on the last 3 of the above subjects.
